Light Advice

Okay, so I need some advice on the pendants over my island. The kitchen, dining room, and den are all in one room. Below is my chandelier and below the chandelier are my pendant options for over my island. Please vote which one you like in the comment section.

Here are a few of my favorite kitchens. I love everything about this kitchen all the white, open shelves, black and white tile, the ceiling, the marble top farm house table, and the staircase.

Last but not Least.....Perfection!!! This is my absolute favorite kitchen!! I love the pendants, table, bamboo chairs, the wing chair at the end of the table.....ahhh!!

Bringing Up Boys!

So last night this little man ran off some of our friends. We ordered Chinese Food and our friend Frank was eating his Fried Rice, Lo mane (spelling??), and sweet n sour chicken on a t.v. tray in our living room. Well, my sweet little boy ran up to Frank and pulled his tray (with food on it) from underneath him and kept on running while laughing. Food went everywhere and shortly after that Frank and Mel decided to leave. They said that WW did not run them off. But I just wanted to apologize again. This morning a friend brought me the book "Bringing up Boys" if I have time to read it, it could be my miracle! My little man is as sweet as he can be but also as wild as he can be. When hubby and I correct AM she just gets her feelings hurt, when we correct WW he just laughs and says "No!" He is a momma's little boy and I love him dearly but he definitely keeps me on my toes!

Front Porch Wish List

I would love this table on my front porch. Between two chiars below in white.

On the other side of the porch I would love to have this swing with the green and white outdoor pillows from Ballard Design.

The Maxi Dress

Some of my friends have been wearing the maxi dress for a year now. I always thought how is that flattering?? Well, they aren't but they are the it thing this spring and summer! So, go buy one with some gladiator sandals and enjoy not sucking in your stomach. These are precious and from Saks.

My Lantern!!

I know the picture is really small. Honestly, I have no clue how to make it larger. But, this is my gas lantern for the outside of my new house! It's from Bevolo in New Orleans. I am obsessed with it!! They cover the French Quarter streets and inside the restaurants. Oh so pretty!!

Finally

Today we are breaking ground!!! So, does this mean I can start decorating!?!?! This is the entrance to our drive way.

For the past 2 months between 4:00 am and 7:30 am my husband has been turkey hunting. This morning and he came home soooo excited with this.....I hope he knows it will not be going in the new house. We have already pawned a 1200 pound mounted elk to a friend and lots of deer heads.

Sprinkler Fun!

Saturday after going to an Antique Mall with my mother-in-law and the children, it was warm enough to break out the $6.00 sprinkler from the Dollar Store. AM and WW had a blast! Their clothes ended up muddy and soaking wet, which I'm sure was great for their runny noses.

Sunday we had a nice visit from my parents. My mother came bearing gifts as usual and purchased AM her birthday present. Of all the things in Walmart baby dolls, barbies, bikes, etc....she wanted a shark slip and slide. So of course SHE GOT IT! Well, I hope everyone is having great Monday! I can't wait to watch the Hills tonight since I missed last week!

I wish....

I sure do wish I was one of these gals at the beach, but I will be at home this weekend due to being on-call. The husband will be playing in a golf tournament all weekend, therefore it will be just me and the kids. I think we are going to venture to the local Arts and Crafts fair tomorrow to ride a pony or two! Have a great weekend!

I have followers!!!

I have four followers and three of them are in my office! Since I started this blog (yesterday) I have had a lot of people visit. I am so excited! I hope that I do not bore you with all my pictures of my kids. My friend Bradley has requested that I not only blog about my children but also blog about the house that my husband and I are building. It has been a dream of ours for a while to build and own a home. After months of clearing, working on the land, and putting a 3,000 ft. drive way in we are finally ready to break ground on Monday. We met with our contractor this morning and laid the house out. Our land is beautiful and better than I could have ever dreamed it would have been. I will be posting pictures soon of the land and the progress of the house as it is being built. Yesterday afternoon AM, WW, and I enjoyed a walk and some side walk chalk.

After chasing WW around outside we were hungry and headed to a very healthy dinner, McDonald's! My friend Amanda called me last night and busted AM and I painting at 8:30 pm...I know she should go to bed earlier. But, since we do not get home till 5:00 pm from work I am not in a rush to put her to bed.

Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend started off Saturday at the Methodist Church for an Easter Egg Hunt. This is after church on Sunday.

Good start...the first blog did not publish. I'll try again.

I have been following several blogs for months now and finally built up enough courage to start my own. I am hoping this will be a way for family and friends to take a peek into our crazy life and to see my precious children everyday. I hope you enjoy our life as much as we do!
